Legacy Wedding Album: Generations

Destination Farm Wedding

Wedding Day

Tyson and Sarah’s big day was full of love and tradition, with their own modern flair.

Held at Jolley Farm near Melbourne, Australia, this destination offers lush green landscapes, hay bales, old architecture, a ceremony spot on the lake, and a tented reception site.

They had a no-frills, farm in the countryside wedding, and we barely had to do anything except sit back and document the magic this couple created.

Album Design

This one of a kind wedding album pays homage to the bride and groom’s families, and features side by side images of modern wedding photography with similar images of the couple’s parents’ wedding photos, taken in the 1980s.

When I met with this couple, I asked them to lend me all their parents' wedding albums, and I photographed them to use for the album. The bride is an illustrator, so I also incorporated some of her illustrations into the design.

In the end, four generations are represented in this wedding album: grandparents, parents, the bride and groom, and their future child. It is truly an album devoted to their family legacy.
